“It is an honor to accept the Michael Kzirian Flame of Courage Award at this year’s CHN Golf Classic and Pickleball Tournament. As a member of the CHN Finance and Golf Committees, I had the pleasure and privilege of working with Michael Kzirian. Witnessing firsthand Mike’s passion for Cancer Hope Network’s mission, receiving this award named in his memory is deeply meaningful to me.”

Kaye continued, “When I was going through my own diagnosis and treatment, I was not aware of Cancer Hope Network and all that it had to offer. When I found out about the organization after I finished my treatment, I immediately connected with the mission and felt compelled to give back—to spread the word to others like me from the younger generation who might be dealing with their own diagnoses about the many benefits of one-on-one peer mentorship support and the power of hope.”

Beth Blakey, Executive Director & COO of Cancer Hope Network shared, “Cancer Hope Network’s Peer Mentor Volunteers make such an incredible difference in the lives of people affected by cancer.” Blakey continued, “As a Peer Mentor volunteer, advocate, leader, and committee member, Jeremy Kaye truly embodies the spirit of hope. It is our distinct honor to award him with the 2024 Michael Kzirian Flame of Courage Award at the Annual CHN Golf Classic and Pickleball Tournament in June. Jeremy’s passion for helping others comes through in everything he does, and we cannot think of a more deserving person to receive this award.”
